Illustrations
My most significant project with NIL Pro Shop came when Frankie Luvu approached the company looking for a custom illustration for a t-shirt to support the Maui Relief fund. I was honored to create this special design for him and for the effort to rebuild Maui. Additional illustrations I created for gear for NIL Pro Shop can also be seen below.
Bootleg Vintage Graphics
In addition to illustration, my time with NIL Pro Shop allowed me to develop vintage bootleg-inspired 90s style graphics for college athletes to feature on their personalized merchandise. These designs focused on unique text effects and careful composition of photos, while also ensuring variety in the backgrounds and elements to highlight each athlete’s uniqueness.
Lew Nichols Draft Day
One of the most unique projects I worked on for NIL Pro Shop was in preparation for the 2023 NFL Draft. VIP Sports Management commissioned a custom illustration for Lew Nichols that featured him in the colors of whichever team drafted him. With an emphasis on the timeliness of sharing the graphic immediately after he was selected, it was imperative to create a version of Lew in all 32 NFL team jerseys. While only the Green Bay Packers version was publicized following his selection, the full collection of illustrations showcasing Nichols in every team’s colors is truly captivating.
